26th April 2004Greenhill YMCA is an outdoors education centre nestled between the Mourne Mountains and the Irish Sea. Through outdoor and team activities, Greenhill aims to develop the mind, body, and spirit of every person that visits the centre. The international team of staff pride themselves on the friendly, welcoming atmosphere that is provided, and enjoying offering an expansive range of activities that are tailored to suit the needs of every individual.
Greenhill YMCA is most often frequented by groups that wish to take advantage of the outdoor and team activities on offer. Excellent accommodation, meals, and beautiful views compliment their programmes to make their stay, no matter how short or long, a memorable and enjoyable one. However, Greenhill also offers a variety of other facilities. A bathroom block, outside running water and campsite gives hillwalkers and campers a relaxing venue to rest after a hard day in the hills. At times, groups wish to stay at Greenhill just for the food, accommodation, and peaceful environment, and Greenhill are happy to let them follow their own programme. During the summer, Greenhill bursts into a flurry of activity as it becomes host to Summer Adventure Camp, a programme aimed at children and young adults within the community.
The centre is proud to accept a diverse range of groups onsite. From international groups to local schools groups, and inner city groups to business groups, Greenhill YMCA can tailor a programme to suit you.
