The Summer Camp Team 2012

This year we are pleased to host 10 young energetic Summer Camp leaders from various educational and training disciplines across Europe.

These young leaders represent Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany and Hungary. This diverse and multidisciplinary team together are sharing best practice and various typologies of working with young people in order to create one fun, challenging and educational Summer Camp Programme for all our youth participants in 2012.

The Summer Camp Team have now completed an intense two week practical training programme in preparation for the 2012 Summer Camp Programme. The training exceeded twenty practical developmental aspects including First Response care and very muddy adventure walks to an overnight camping trip and Risk Assessing, thus providing our team with the skills necessary to deliver an exceptional Summer Camp programme and giving them a well-rounded perspective for the eight weeks which lie ahead.

It’s going to be an exciting summer.
